Diane Smith, the principal of WGraphics, is a 30-year veteran of the graphic design business. In that time, she has worked for both printing companies and ad agencies. Her longest tenure, however, was at the Naples Daily News in Naples, FL, where she served as creative director for 15 years.
     During a period of great expansion by that newspaper, she was the creative force behind a host of specialty publications and special advertising sections that allowed her a great deal of design freedom. They ranged from upscale glossy magazines and arts sections to workman-like real estate
advertising vehicles.
     During her time at the Daily News, Diane was recognized for her design excellence by the Florida Newspaper Advertising and Marketing Association (FNAME), the largest newspaper trade group in the state.
     Diane is joined by husband Bob who occupies the role of copywriter, photographer and design critic in their two-person WGraphics organization.
He is also a veteran of the Naples Daily News where he served as display advertising director. 
     Along with their English cocker spaniel Toby, they work out of their mountain home in Big Canoe, GA, an hour north of Atlanta.
